Text only available in German: Der Colt Diamondback wurde von 1966 bis 1988 durch Colt in Hartford (Connecticut) hergestellt. Es gab Ausführungen in den Kalibern .38 Special, .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR) und .22 Winchester Magnum sowie mit den Lauflängen 2.5 Zoll (63mm), 4 Zoll (101mm) und 6 Zoll (152mm).   Der Colt Diamondback ist ein Double-Action Revolver, breitem Hahnsporn, ventilierter Laufschiene und verstellbarer Visierung.   John Wayne nutzte im Film "Brannigan" (1975) einen Colt Diamondback (wie unten abgebildet) im Kaliber .38 Special mit 4 Zoll Lauf.   Der abgebildete Revolver wurde im Jahr 1971 hergestellt.   Colt-Waffen können über die Webseite der Firma Colt datiert werden.
