Description (Top):

The CZ 75 Automatic is the switchable semi/fully automatic version of the famous CZ 75B, which has been produced thousands of times. The safety lever, however, has three positions (top: safety, center: single fire, bottom: burst fire); to switch to the “burst fire” position, the safety lever must be pushed forward and down at the same time to prevent accidental burst firing. The cadence for serial fire is approx. 1,000 rounds per minute. The CZ 75 Automatic was first introduced in 1992 and is intended for special police and military units. The magazines of the CZ 75 Automatic have a base piece with which they can be latched onto the rail on the grip of the weapon, resulting in a kind of foregrip. The first versions of the CZ 75 Automatic had an extended barrel with six compensator holes, the later models had a normal barrel.   The standard magazine holds 15 rounds. The pictures show an additional long magazine with a capacity of 32 rounds (manufactured by ProMag).   There were different types of magazines for the CZ 75 Automatic, the difference is in the capacity (15 or 16 rounds or a special magazine with 25 rounds). The pistols were tested and rejected in 1992 by the Rapid Response Unit, a special unit of the Czech police. The reason given was the uncontrolled raising of the muzzle during fully automatic fire.   CZ nevertheless decided to produce a small series of these pistols. Production began in 1992 and continued until 2000 and from 2002 to 2003. Some pistols were still being produced in 2007.   A total of only 2,382 CZ 75 Automatic were produced. The small number makes the pistol a sought-after collector's item today.   The standard scope of delivery in 1995 included: - CZ 75 Automatic with compensator barrel - two 15-round magazines with magazine base for attachment to the rail - plastic box, in cardboard box - cleaning rod - cleaning brush - operating instructions - Target - Warranty card   Also shown are - normal barrel (additional) - ProMag 32 round magazine   This gun was purchased in 1995 (proof March 1995), an additional normal length barrel was fitted to the original compensator barrel.
