En effet, le magasin tubulaire jouit d'une contenance de dix cartouches, plus une chambrée. L'alimentation s’opère de manière fluide et la culasse réarme le chien à chaque manÅuvre du levier. Ce dernier peut être bloqué dans son abattement par une sécurité manuelle transversale. Comme pour les revolvers, le Cal. .44 Magnum est compatible avec le Cal. .44 Spécial, moins puissant et plus agréable que son ' grand ' frère ! Il en va de même pour le Cal. .357 Magnum qui est compatible avec le Cal. .38 Spécial, moins puissant et plus agréable que son ' grand ' frère ! La Marlin 1894 est une carabine maniable et robuste, combinant modernité et charme western. Elle profite de garnitures quadrillées et bien ajustées en noyer américain. Le garde-main adopte un profil étagé avec un ' Barrel Band ' et le grip de la crosse est droit. Le canon mesure 20″ de long (en .44 Mag.) 18.625 ' (en .357 Mag.) de long avec des rayures de type ' Ballard ', plus profondes que les rayures traditionnelles. Son pas est de 1/38'', de quoi stabiliser la plupart des munitions manufacturées. La hausse, de type ' crocodile ' semi-buckhorn à feuillet rabattable, s'aligne parfaitement avec son guidon ' grains d'orge ' en laiton et protégé par un tunnel. Les deux sont dérivables sur queue d'aronde. Il est évidemment possible de l'équiper d'une optique grâce aux perçages taraudés du boĆ®tier. Ceux-ci permettront de fixer des embases. |
