Das schlanke Profil, die beidseitigen Verriegelungen und die wasserdichten Batterierohre machen ihn zum schlanksten Lagerrohrschaft auf dem Markt. Der SL-S bietet eine verbesserte Wangenschweißnaht und einen echten, mit O-Ringen abgedichteten, 10 m wasserdichten Stauraum, der von vielen gewünscht wird, passt aber in das schmalste Paket, das möglich ist, um eine aufrechtere Kopfhaltung zu ermöglichen und die Masse zu minimieren. Eine gerollte Spitze und ein abgewinkeltes Gummikolbenpolster sind für die Verwendung mit Körperpanzern optimiert, und eine beidhändige QD-Riemenbügelfassung ist im Lieferumfang enthalten.
