| 38-40 Winchester; 75% blue, very good+ bore, very good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in 1886 It has a S/N 2055. It is chambered for a .38-40. The bore is bright with no issues. The octagon barrel has a white beaded blade, and the ear is an adjustable buckhorn. The top of the barrel has the two-line Winchester address and patent info. It also has .38 Cal wcf. The barrel is in very good condition, it has no corrosion or dents on the edges of the barrel flats. The left side of the receiver is marked with C.C. HISCOE / N.Y. Dealer who sold the rifle? The forearm has a Schnabel nose, and the buttstock is in very good condition, it has been sanded. The crescent buttplate is thinning. This 136-year-old rifle is in very good overall condition.
