THE RIFLE WAS MANUFACTURED IN 1919 AND THE LEFT RECEIVER INSCRIBED "WALTER LOCKE & CO. LTD./CALCUTTA, DELHI & LAHORE". W WHO WAS THE RETAILER THE RIFLE WAS SHIPPED TO. SEE THE INCLUDED DOCUMENTATION. THE BLUING IS GOOD ON THE BARREL AND BAND BUT FLAKING HEAVILY ON THE RECEIVER. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE WALNUT BUTTSTOCK HAS A PLAQUE ADDED in 1954 AT THE RIGHT BUTT BY THEN OWNER "AXEL LUNDBERG". THE BUTT STOCK AND FOREARMS SHOW LIGHT DINGS AND HANDLING MARKS.
