| 32-20 Winchester; 50% blue, fair bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured in 1905. Original blue finish, half round/half octagon barrel with half magazine and mounted in the original walnut stock with a shotgun butt fitted with the original checkered steel buttplate. The barrel mounted sights have been removed. Stamped on top of the barrel with the two-line Winchester address and patent dates, the left side of the barrel is stamped "NICKEL STEEL BARREL/ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER". The upper tang is stamped "MODEL 1894/WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK". European style 3/4 inch sling swivels have been added to the butt and on the bottom of the forend cap. There is evidence of another swivel having been soldered onto the bottom of the barrel as some point. One small screw is missing from the upper tang and the main tang screw is a non-original replacement. The metal finish shows wear, handlling and some spotting overall. The wood is overall good, having light dings and scuffs overall, and there is a 2 inch crack on the left side of the stock wrist behind the receiver. Mechanically fine.
