| 44 WCF; 96% blue, good bore, very good+ stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1925 This is a factory short rifle with the optional octagon barrel. It has the correct one inch shorter forearm. It has been refinished. All of the edges are still sharp and all of the lettering is crisp and clear. The barrel has a blade front sight and a buckhorn rear. The barrel has the two line WINCHESTER address and patent info. And .44 WCF The barrel and the top of the receiver both have the Winchester proof mark. The upper tang has MODEL 92 / WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK REGUS PAT OFF &FGN The walnut stock is in very good condition with very few handling marks . It does have the trap door buttplate. The bore has some pitting. Action works well and is a straight shooter., s/n 9477xx |
