| 38 WCF; 75% blue, good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1911 This Model 1892 is a round barrel rifle. The front sight is a fixed blade with the bead missing, The rear sight is a three blade flip up sight. The barrel has the Two-line Winchester address and patent dates, - 38 W.C.F. The Winchester proof is on the top of the barrel and chamber. The S/N is on the bottom of the receiver. The upper tang has MODEL 1892 / WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK REG IN U.S. PAT OFF. The receiver is thinning The hammer is checkered with the widows peak. The walnut forearm and buttstock are in very good condition with minor handling marks. The buttstock has a steel checkered shotgun buttplate. Muzzel appears to have been shaved down. Import marked., s/n 6361xx |
