| 44 WCF; 50% blue, very good bore, good stock, 24.25'' barrel, Manufactured in 1907. Original blued finish and plain walnut stock with crescent butt. Full round barrel with original fixed front and buckhorn elevation adjustable rear sights. Full magazine tube. Top of barrel marked with the Winchester address and patent date in two lines. Upper receiver tang marked with the model 1892. Oval proof on top of receiver. The left side of the stock butt is stamped with a Canadian retailer name which is illegible over "192 EAST ST CATHERINE/MONTREAL". Import marked on the bottom of the frame. The metal finish is worn with scattered light surface rust and spotting. Rifle is complete and original, mechanically fine with a better than average bore. C&R/FFL, s/n 3810xx |
