| 38-56 WCF; poor bore, poor stock, 22'' barrel, Manufactured in 1893. Light patina metal with trace blued finish in protected areas. Original fixed front and ladder rear sights. Two line Winchester address stamped on top of the barrel. Walnut stock and forend refinished long ago. Extra hole drilled and tapped on top of the upper tang. Forend is cracked on the bottom from the tip to the band. Stock is cracked for its length on top from the tang to the buttplate tang and on the bottom behind the lower tang. Cracks and old repairs on each side behind the receiver. Action functions fine. Bore is dark and rusty. Antique., s/n 818xx |
