| .22 LR; 50% blue, poor bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured between 1935 and the start of WWII. Based on the serial number the gun was put together with remaining parts sometime after Winchester quit produing the Model 1906. Barrel is stamped "22 SHORT-LONG OR LONG RIFLE" The reciever has minor pitting on top of left side. Top of tang is stampted "WINCHESTER TRADE MARK MADE IN U.S.A." Magazine tube is not bent and slides freely. Open sights. Bore shows lots of wear weath a dark ring about three inches from muzzle., s/n 8293xx |
