| 32 ACP; 97% blue, excellent bore, very good+ grips, 3.3'' barrel, Manufactured in late 1942. The finish has very mild muzzle and high edge wear on the left side (Holster). It has a finger extension magazine. And the black checkered grips are in very good Plus condition. The bore is mirror bright and the action works. Consigner states that the grandfather of the man he purchased it from and had brought is back from the war. He was curious about the lack of markings on it and sent it to Legacy Collectibles. They determined it has been De Nazified by the owner. He has burnished the waffen mark on the slide and the Walther company markings on the left side of the slide. The right side has the test proofs on the slide and barrel have been removed. He left the serial numbers and for some reason the WaA 359 Insp proof. When he received the information from Legacy it occurred to him the family was Jewish, hence the De Nazification.. But the fact is this was a Jewish GI bring back., s/n 3715xxK |
