| Late WW2 issue .30 Cal steel ammunition can with original OD paint. Manufactured by Artcraft. The M1A1 ammunition can differed from the standard M1 can in having a second latch under the lid latch which allows the can to be attached to the Browning Machine Gun tripod. This example is marked on the side for repack in yellow lettering "250 CAL. .30 BELTED 4 BALL-1 TR.M1 REPACKED LOT SLB 93626". In overall very good original condition, some scattered surface rusting. End opposite the latch has an old sticker over a small dent. Clean internally, latches work fine. |
