| US Navy miniature ship models, used for identification by air crew of Allied and enemy shipping. Seven (7) sets in original wooden transport cases. 159 lead models total, including U.S., German, British and Japanese ships, all to the same scale. Some of the models have damage such as a bent or broken gun or mast. 4-5 models have the hull bent or broken. The US Mark I supplement set is missing the interior slot panels for the models to sit in and may be missing some of the models. Overall a very rare set of WW2 memorabilia. |
