| U.S. Navy WW2 MKII 10x spyglass refractor telescope. Marked "U.S.NAVY B.U. SHIPS O.O.D. 10-POWER MARK II MOD.1 N.G.F. TYPE 5022 1942". Optics are fairly clear, focus adjustment is very stiff. Covering on the tube is in good condition. Brass has paint finish loss and some corrosion. Includes an original wooden storage box in fair condition, the bottom is detaching at one end. The plate on the box is marked for this type of optic, has a non-matching serial and is dated 1939. |
