| This Model 1917 Bayonet is 17 inches long. The blood groove is 12.5 inches long The ricasso has Ordnance insp proofs and US. The reverse has 1917/ circled Remington. The blade looks to have had little use and has some light patina. Pommel has light patina. The walnut grips are in good condition with some small chips on both sides at the rear top. Scabbard is marked, GF inside oval, on throat, leather is mostly gone and is marked, J.J.O.L. on hip side.. Has light patina on throat and tip has lost all of it's finish and has moderate patina., |
