| 30-06 Cal; good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Receiver manufactured January 1943. Parkerized finish, walnut stock with faint but legible boxed WRA/GHD cartouche and ordnance wheel on left side. Serifed circled P firing proof high on front of grip, small P added low on front of grip. Number stamped along end of butt on left side. Walnut handguards. WRA barrel with oval proof and bright breech. WRA bolt, relief cut operating rod, trigger housing, milled trigger guard, hammer, safety, correct gas cylinder and front sight, single slot solid gas cylinder lock screw, type 2 lock bar rear sight. 2S marked buttplate. Stock has old chip on left side of toe. Mechanically fine. Bore has strong rifling, showing light frost throughout. TE=3.5, muzzle=3. C&R/FFL, s/n 12712xx |
