| 8x56mmR; good bore, good stock, 19.5'' barrel, Original finish worn. Walnut stock and handguard. No import markings found. The top of the barrel chamber is stamped with a large "H" (Hungarian for Spitzer bullet?). Right side of barrel chamber is stamped with a circled "E". None of the normal chamber proofs and date are present on the barrel chamber. The left side of the stock butt is stamped along the end with an asterisk mark over larger "K.A.B.". And the buttplate is stamped in larger numbers "W-6853". The only serial numbered parts are the barrel and receiver and they are not matching. Front sight protector attached. The metal and wood show wear and handling overall, with some dark spotting on the exposed metal. The stock is overall Good however has cracks on both side of the toe. The bore shows strong rifling, light frost throughout., s/n 37xxZ |
