| 22 Long Rifle; 75% blue, good bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured in France circa early 1900s. Single shot bolt action rifle with original blue finish barrel, casehardened frame, mounted in a walnut stock with finger groove full length forend. Fixed front sight with fold over sight protector. Fully adjustable tangent type rear sight with protector. Marked on top of the bolt shroud with the St. Etienne cycle works markings, and at the rear of the shroud with a crossed cannons and arrow MF logo, surrounded by "CARABINE/BUFFALO" and "LEBEL". Matching serial numbers. Original cleaning/clearing rod. Missing the lower sling swivel. The metal has light surface spotting over all. Mechanically needs work, the sear does not hold. C&R/FFL, s/n 588xx |
