| 30-40 Krag; good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Original metal finish aged to an even light patina overall with some dark spotting. Walnut stock with a strong 1903 date inspector cartouche. Script circle P firing proof on the bottom of the stock grip. 1902 pattern rear sight. Repair to an old crack on the left side of the handguard. Vintage Freeland style leather target sling. Four small holes on the right side end of the butt from a plate of some sort being attached at one point. Bore is fair-good condition, shows wear to the rifling and frost throughout., s/n 4888xx |
