| 50 Rimfire; good bore, fair stock, 22'' barrel, Post Civil War converison to 5o Rimfire caliber, round barrel with 3 groove rifling, fixed front and ladder rear sights. Patina metal. Walnut stock with strong ESA inspector cartouche on the left side. Stabler cutoff installed. Stamped on top of the frame "SPENCER REPEATING/RIFLE CO BOSTON MASS./PAT'D MARCH 6, 1860.". Metal finish has some spotting and mottling. The buttstock has a crack on the left side running back from the saddle ring base for about 2.25 inches. Small chip at the end of the lockplate on the right side. Mecanically fine. Bore has strong rifling and shine, with visible spots of pitting. Antique., s/n 334xx |
