| 9x19mm; 84% blue, 70% straw, fair bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, 1920 Police rework, with mixed DWM and Simson parts. All numbered parts are matching including the grips, toggle pin and firing pin, exception is the magazine. Trigger is not numbered. Most parts marked with the Simson eagle/6 proof. This pistol is Berlin Protection Police, Group East Berlin unit marked on the front grip frame strap "S.B.12881." with a canceled "S.B.O.I.2.71.". 1908 frame without stock lug, original blued finish and strawed small parts. Walnut grips each stamped with full serial numbers. Wood bottom magazine with faint non-matching serial number and +. The toggle is stamped "SIMSON & Co / SUHL". 1920 date stamped over the chamber. Imperial proofs remain on the right side of the receiver. The metal finish is showing wear, the grip frame finish has thinned to light brown patina. Holster wear to the expected high areas. The bore rifling is worn with light corrosion throughout. Mechanically fine., s/n 96xxd, Catalog Number SS-05 |
