THE RIFLE WAS DEACTIVATED WITH A PLUGGER BREACH BUT THE CENTERFIRE REMINGTON ACTION WOULD MAKE THE BASIS FOR A CUSTOM BUILD. THE BLUING ON THE BARREL SHOWS LIGHT WEAR AND FRECKLING. THE RECEIVER RETAINS APPROX 45% OF ITSFADED CASE COLORS. THE BUTTSTOCK IS SOLID WITH A MEDALLION IN THE RIGHT BUTT. THE FOREARM SHOWS A BIT MORE WEAR AND BOTH IT AND THE BUTTSTOCK ARE DATED 1896. |
