| 9mm Luger; 60% blue, 50% straw, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Sub variation with strawed small parts, original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. All matching including the magazine. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Mauser code S/42 and on top of the chamber with the date 1937. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two droop eagle/63 proofs and a droop eagle test proof. Other droop eagle test proofs appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. A small droop eagle/63 proof is located over the left side of the barrel. The metal finish is worn with scattered spotting and some minor pitting on the sideplate hump. The grip frame straps have worn mostly bright with dark spotting. The grip panels show wear to the points on the checkering and some handling marks. Mechanically fine. The bore has shine and strong rifling showing some darkness in the grooves. We imported this pistol from Germany and it bears our import mark on the bottom of the frame. C&R/FFL, s/n 5xxs, Catalog Number M-115 |
