| 9mm Luger; 90% blue, 80% straw, fair bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Very scarce early nazi sneak variation Luger pistol. There have been several theories over the years as to the exact origins of these Luger pistols, but it is believed the "K.I." marking refers to the rework facility responsible for rebuilding or refurbishing surplus WWI Luger psitols, intended to be issued to mainly Military units in secret. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered beechwood grips. All matching including the magazine, which is also Simson eagle/6 proofed at the front of the base. DWM monogram on top of toggle. Chamber marked "K.l./1933" (the 1 in the date double stamped). The right side of the receiver is stamped with several proofs: three Imperial proofs and a Weimar era eagle acceptance mark, two Simson eagle/6 proofs, one crown/RC proof and one eagle/RC proof. The barrel is marked over the left side with two eagle/6 proofs and an eagle/RC proof. The metal has some scattered minor surface spotting, mainly on the grip frame straps. The grips are over all good, the left panel has a chip missing under the safety lever. Our import mark under the barrel. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 54xx, Catalog Number D-328 |
