| 8mm Nambu; 96% blue, 90% straw, Good bore, Very good grips, 4.5'' barrel, NAMBU TYPE 15 SHOWA 14.9 MAKING IT A TRANSITIONAL PISTOL. CHANGES WERE THE LARGER TRIGGER GUARD AND THE ADDITION OF THE MAGAZINE RETAINING SPRING WHICH THIS EXAMPLE DOESN'T HAVE, BUT IT DOES HAVE THE MANCHURIAN TRIGGER GUARD. THE PISTOL WAS MANUFACTURED AT THE NAMBU RIFLE MANUFACTURING CO/ CHUO KOGYO IN 1939. THE BLUING IS THINNING ON THE BARREL ALONG WITH SOME VERY LIGHT FRECKLING. THE TRIGGER AND SAFETY RETAIN 90% OF THEIR COLORS. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH LIGHTLY WORN RIFLING. THE SERRATED GRIPS HAVE MODERATE WEAR. THE TAN CLAMSHELL HOLSTER IS VERY GOOD AND CONTAINS A CLEANING ROD AND EXTRA FIRING PIN., s/n 670xx |
