| 12 Gauge; very good bore, good stock, 29.75'' barrel, 2 3/4 inch chambers with Full chokes. Browned Damascus barrels, casehardened frame with scroll and border engraving and mounted in checkered walnut. Marked on top of the matted barrel rib "MFD BY THE MERIDEN FIRE ARMS CO., MERIDEN, CONN. PAT. APPLIED FOR". The watertable is marked D80 over the serial number. Both lockplates are marked "THE A.J. AUBREY". Features a sidelock action, extractors, double triggers, narrow pressure release forearm and afull grip stock fitted with the original hard rubber buttplate. The barrels show spotting and light surface rusting overall. The frame has some remaining case colors, with some minor scattered spotting. The stock has been lightly sanded and oiled. The action works fine. There is a tiny bit of up and down barrel play in lockup. Sling swivels have been added., s/n 114xx |
