| 8x57mm; 75% blue, poor bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, PORTUGUESE CONTRACT M937A RIFLE DATED 1937, MATCHING EXCEPT FOR THE BOLT. MADE BY MAUSER OBERNDORF IN 1937/38. THESE WERE MAUSER PRODUCED K98Ks THAT PORTUGAL ORDERED IN 1937. THE DISTINGUISHING DIFFERENCES ARE THE PORTUGUESE CREST ON THE RECEIVER, THE ADDITION OF FRONT SIGHT WINGS AND THE ADDED SLING SWIVELS. THE BLUINGS SHOWS HEAVY WEAR ON THE BANDS AND TRIGGER GUARD ASSEMBLY ALONG WITH MODERATE WEAR ON THE RECEIVER. THE BORE IS POOR WITH WELL WORN RIFLING AND HEAVY CORROSION PRESENT. THE WALNUT STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING LIGHT DINGS AND SCRATCHES. COMES WITH THE CORRECT "L&F" MARKED SLING. IMPORT MARKED., s/n D195xx |
