| 8mm Mauser; good bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Manufactured in Czechoslovakia, proof dated 1923. Turkish issue. Original metal finish has worn and browned. Walnut stock and handguard. Matching bands and trigger guard, remainder of numbered parts are non-matching. 2nd variation tangent rear sight marked in Arabic. Small crescent moon stamp on botl knob. Top of receiver is arch stamped "CS.ST./ZBROJOVKA" over "BRNO", Czech proofs and date over the left side of the receiver ring. No import markings found. Scattered areas of light pitting on the metal. Bore has strong rifling. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n B97xx |
