| 303 British; 95% blue, good bore, very good stock, 25.25'' barrel, Fazakerly FTR 1947. Original date 1941 stamped on the left side of the buttsocket. Blued finish. Birchwood buttstock and forend. Walnut upper and lower handguards with fluted rear handguard. Matching serial numbers on bolt, magazine and forend. Normal length butt. Fixed front sight, MKI milled adjustable rear sight. No.2 bolt head. Parts are British except the LB (Long Branch) marked front sight protector and square S (Savage) marked buttstock. Illegible import mark on the left side of the receiver. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle using the "bullet test". There is slight darkness in the grooves, however the overall bore condition may improve with a thorough scrubbing., s/n P3263xx |
