| 303 British; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 25.25'' barrel, Long Branch 1944 manufacture. Original blued finish. Birchwood stock. No import marks, has the British "tons' release markings on the end of the barrel. Matching bolt and forend. #1 bolt head. Long butt, stamped L. Loing Branch parts except the magazine. MKIII stamped adjustable rear sight. Canadian WW2 khaki web sling and 1952 dated action cover included. Rifle has seen issue possibly in India, having the re-inforcement screw run thru the forend and the stock cutouts at the lower band with holes on each side of the band for grenade launching purposes. Bore has shine and strong rifling, bit dark and dirty in the grooves. Scattered minor surface rust spots on metal., s/n 74L35xx |
