| 8mm; 96% blue, Excellent bore, Very good stock, 24'' barrel, GERMAN K98k RIFLE CODE "AR" MADE AT MAUSER BORSIGWALDE IN 1944 IN EXCELLENT OVERALL CONDITION. THE BLUING SHOWS LIGHT FADING ON THE REAR BAND. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH SHARP RIFLING. THE LAMINATED STOCK IS VERY GOOD WITH A 1.5" GOUGE AT THE PISTOL GRIP ALONG WITH A FEW LIGHT SCRATCHES. THE RIGHT REAR BUTT SHOW LIGHT CHATTER MARKS WHICH IS TYPICAL FOR LATE WAR EXAMPLES. HAS THE PROPER WaA135 PROOF ON THE RIGHT BUTT AND ALL VISIBLE NUMBERS ARE MATCHING. THIS IS A VERY NICE LATE WAR K98k THAT COMES WITH A SLING AND A RUBBER MUZZLE CAP., s/n 71xx |
