| 8mm Mauser; 75% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Steyr manufacture, original blued finish, laminated stock with flat buttplate and handguard. Numbered parts are all matching including the trigger guard action screws. Stamped on top of the receiver ring with the Steyr code "660" and date "1940". The right side of the receiver ring is marked with four eagle/WaA623 proofs. Right side of the rear sight base is marked with two eagle/WaA623 proofs. Small parts are marked with eagle/623 or eagle/WaA623 proofs. Right side of stock butt is stamped with two eagle/WaA623 proofs and a Heer eagle/H proof. The bottom of the stock behind the trigger guard is marked with a faint eagle/WaA623 proof. Original cleaning rod. Also includes an original nazi proofed front sight/muzzle cover with hinged cap in very good condition. The metal finish is thinning over all and the wood shows some handling. Mechanically fine. No import markings. C&R/FFL, s/n 36xxe |
