| 303 British; 90% blue, good bore, good stock, 25.25'' barrel, Marked on the left buttsocket "No1 MKIII* / FR 48". Receiver has the cutoff slot on the right. Blued finish with traces of OD green paint. Matching bolt and rear sight. Beechwood forend has no legible serial number. Nose cap is mis-matching. Walnut Normal length butt and handguards. Most parts are of Indian mfr except the rear sight quard and nosecap which are refurbished British parts. Rear handguard has tight cracks on top at the front and rear edges with "buscuit" repairs. Upper handguard without "ears". OD web sling. The bore has shine showing light corrosion throughout. Muzzle=.304. CAI import marked on right rear receiver., s/n 56xxX |
