| 7.5mm; 25% blue, Very good bore, Fair stock, 30.5'' barrel, Warning this rifle needs some TLC: BARREL: Blued (at one point in time). BORE: Oddly enough is bright in finish, very good rifling and surprising very light pitting. SIGHTS: Open, FRONT- blade (Drift adjustable, dove tailed), REAR- Quadrant sight (ranged 400m-2000m). RECEIVER: Blued (aopit), straight pull bolt-action, stamped with maker & proof marks, moderate to severe rust. BOLT: Metal not exposed in the closed position is bright (non-blued) finish w/moderate rust on lock handle and ring, stamped matching SN, matching SN on magazine light rust. STOCK: Wooden, misc. dents, dings, scratches. White mildew/ in places marked “Swiss shield and cross” right-side rear butt-stock, “Encircle 2” top rear butt-stock, steel butt-plate (can’t see SN, unknown if matching). Production Year: 1894 (175001 - 183000). (SIDENOTE: After a little gun oil, it cycles alright, but the magazine is stuck in place. Trigger works fine.), s/n 1804xx |
