| 7.5mm; 65% blue, Poor bore, Good stock, 30.5'' barrel, BARREL: Blued, moderate dark spotting at muzzle, matching SN. BORE: Dark in finish, poor rifling, severe pitting. Has a rifled small caliber insert (removed while inspected), INSERT BORE: moderate pitting (size: OD-.290in x ID/BORE-.160in. x 3.35in long). SIGHTS: Open, FRONT- Blade (Drift adjustable dove tail), REAR- Tangent (ranged 4-20), both have dark spotting. RECEIVER: Blued, moderate dark spotting, straight pull bolt-action, stamped with maker & proof marks. BOLT: Semi-bright (non-blued) finish, non-matching SN (83107), matching SN on magazine (some thinning w/dark spotting). STOCK: Minor misc. dents, dings, scratches. One large scratch across the lower and upper hand guard left-side stock (1.75 long x 1/8 deep). Marked with Swiss shield and cross stamped on right-side rear buttstock, encircle 5 on top rear, steel buttplate (no SN visible). Production Year: 1891 (901 - 24900). Mechanically fine., s/n 76xx |
