| 12 Gauge; very good bore, good stock, 28.75'' barrel, Manufactured ca.1883. Original browned finish damascus barrels with 2 1/2 inch chambers, Full and Cylinder choked. Matted concave rib with silver bead sight. Casehardened frame and backlock plates. Fine English scroll engraving. Cross bolt. Double triggers. Serial numbers are matching with the exception of the barrels, however the assembly number on the barrel lug and on the frames water table are matching. Gun is mounted in checkered walnut, round knob grip with a 13.75 inch LOP. Original bone buttplate attached is a bit oversized due to the stock being shortened some. The buttplate also has a glue repaired crack and splits at the heel. The forend has a latch release. The finish on the barrels is thin and there is a tiny ding on top of the left barrel 9.75 inches from the muzzle. The actions function well and barrel lock-up is good., s/n 161xx |
