| 9.3 X 62mm; 60% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1945. Small ring Mauser "strengthened" action without thumb recess on left side of receiver. Original blue finish, checkered beechwood stock. Ramped fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight. Used, showing wear and handling. The left side of the receiver wall was drilled and tapped at some time, now having the holes filled and filed, finish gone from the area. The stock has a crack behind the receiver tang which turns down on the left side of the wrist. A few small grain stress cracks around the end of the butt. The buttplate is chipped at the toe. The bore has strong rifling, showing some corrosion throughout. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 915xx |
