| 10x47mmR; 80% blue, very good bore, good stock, 29.5'' barrel, Manufactured 1878-1890. Husqvarna commercial rolling block rifle with octagonal barrel having Swiss style adjustable front and rear sights. Scroll engraved color case hardened action with very generous color remaining. Walnut stock with checkered straight grip and cheekrest. Wedge held plain walnut forend. Adjustable single trigger. Missing the tang sight, mounting screws are there. Bore is very good, bright with strong rifling, has a bit of darkness long the rifling grooves. A few issues, there is a chip in the wood on the front edge of the cheekrest, small chip on the bottom of the forend at the action, and the breechblock bolt has been replaced. Some scattered minor spots of surface rust on the barrel and buttplate. The action function well. The firing pin is a bit sticky so may need dissassembly to clean. Antique, s/n 6xx |
