| 12 GAUGE/44 CAL; fair bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium c.1880's. Blued steel barrels. 2 5/8" chamber shotgun barrel. Exact chambering for the right rifle barrel is not known. Silver blade front sight. Fixed rear sight, on wide matted rib. Checkered walnut stock, worn. Backlocks with side lever. Metal is mostly patina with traces of blued finish and light spotting. Actions function fine. Barrel lockup is loose and the barrels do not match the frame. Bores have corrosion. Missing the firing pin retaining screw on the left side. Antique., s/n 596xx |
