| 8mm Mauser; 60% blue, poor bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Original blue finish, mounted in a laminated wood stock and handguard. Numbered parts are matching except the stock, handguard and upper and lower bands. The right side of the receiver ring is stamped with three eagle/749 proofs. The right side of the receiver ring, bolt shank and most of the small parts are stamped with eagle/1 and 1 proofs, except the non-matching bands. The triggerguard/action screws are matching to the rifle and are eagle/18 proofed. Matching buttplate is also stamped with a large "W4." and has eagle/WaA1 proof. Matching number cleaning rod. The stock has non-matching numbers on the left side of the butt. No visible external proofing. Missing the small trigger guard lock screws. No import marks. Mechanically fine. The bore is dark and shows wear to the rifling. C&R/FFL, s/n 8xxb |
