| Vet bring back sattler made holster for a P.38 9mm Cal pistol. Story goes this holster was made by a Frenchman for the vet to carry a captured P.38 pistol in. D rings for the shoulder and chest straps, both with metal buckles for adjusting. Steel stud closures for the keeper and belt straps. Extra magazine pouch on the front. The tan paint finish button used to attach the shoulder strap to the D ring is marked with a makers logo "SLICK" inside a triangle and the snap for the button is marked "CARR EAST CO. BOSTON". This company was in business during WW2 producing fasteners of all types as well parts and sockets for radio tubes. The holster is in Good intact and serviceable condition showing some age and wear. |
