WAGNER SOLINGEN-MERSCHEID, "Stacked Ws". CROSS GUARD: Polished nickel, Light Scratches. Engraved "Br.16 No 22553". HANDLE: Wood- Dark Brown, Light misc. scratches and dents, Cracks in wood on cross guard-side between the "Br" and "16" and on the opposite side, 2 small chips. Varnished coating w/ some small chips in top coat. EAGLE INSIGNIA: Good details, Some light wear on chest, legs, wreath, Light patina. “SA” ROUNDEL: Dark brown enamel w/Nickel accents, No chips. POMMEL: Polished Nickel, Light misc. dents, scratches. POMMEL NUT: Dull Nickel. HEX EDGES: Very little rounding. ROUND CAP: Covered in "Plier" marks. Scabbard: SA.
