A German Nazi Third Reich Reichsarbeitsdienst RAD (Reich Labour Service) subordinate Hewer dagger with stags horn grips, stylized eagle pommel, readed and curved quillon. Unsharpened 9 1/2 inch blade engraved 'Arbeit Adelt' and marked 'RJAD' in triangle 'GES. GESCH.' and Solinger axt und Hauer Fabrik', in original black painted scabbard. Quillon, tang and pommel has some minor patina and chipping. Scabbard paint has chipping and scratches while plating is worn thin in spots., |
