| Original WW1 era, issued to NCO personnel. 10 inch bright blade with Imperial proof on the top edge. Illegible maker marking on the left ricasso. Version with flash guard. Walnut handles. Imperial proofed at the right rear pommel. Catch functions fine. Rust and dark spotting overall, scattered light pitting, oil staining on the handles. The included scabbard is of WW2 era, S/172G code marked and serial numbered. Leeatehr belt frog is not original German issue, possibly Turkish or Romanian. |
