| 9mm; 85% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, "GAEDKE WULMEISTEDT" inlaid in platinum on top of the barrel. Color case hardened falling block action with scroll and border engraving. Crown/V proofs are located on top of the barrel and action. Blued finish full octagon barrel with guarded fixed fine post front sight. No rear sight, block on tang for mounting. 6.25" dovetailed flat on top of the barrel. Rear set doulbe trigger with fancy lever. Walnut stock with a hard rubber buttplate having molded game scene décor. Single forend wedge. The wood shows many handling dings, dents and scratches. Crack on the right side of the wrist running just below the upper tang for 4 inches. Crack and chip on the left side of the forend tip. The action functions fine. Exact chambering is not known and will need to be determined by a compentent gunsmith. Antique |
