| 9mm Luger; 85% blue, 50% straw, fair bore, very good grips, 4'' barrel, Made by Mauser from DWM parts in 1933, "Nazi sneak" variation for police with original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching serial numbers except the grips and magazine. The grips match each other and are eagle/135 proofed. The magazine is a WW2 Mauser blued sheet steel variation with aluminum bottom, serial numbered 8663x/+ with an eagle/655 proof. DWM marked on top of toggle. Blank chamber. Crown/N proofed on bottom of barrel and left side of receiver and breechbolt. Right side of receiver is stamped with an eagle/WaA66 proof. The front grip frame strap is unit marked "L.W.12.". (Prussia, Wiesbaden rural Police). Police sear safety installed over the sideplate. Retains the magazine safety assembly removed, these were usually removed due to malfunction. The metal finish shows edge and high point holster wear with some thinning finish on the grip frame straps. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, $2295.00, s/n 18xxt, Catalog Number D-27 |
