| 11.3X50mmR; 40% blue, fair bore, good stock, 32.8'' barrel, ANTIQUE DUTCH 1871 BEAUMONT RIFLE WITH A BARREL DATED 1876, IN GOOD CONDITION. THE BLUING IS HEAVILY WORN AND FADED WITH APPROX 40% REMAINING. THE BORE HAS HEAVILY WORN BUT STILL DISTINCT RIFLING WITH OXIDATION PRESENT. THE WALNUT STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING LIGHT DINGS, SCRATCHES AND HANDLING MARKS. THE BEAUMONT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST MILITARY RIFLES ADAPTED USING A METALLIC CARTRIDGE. |
