| Commercially manufactured leather holster for the Navy P.04 6" barrel pistols, military pattern. Probably made during the 1920's. Unmarked. Pigskin inner backing, flap with a soft suede type lining. Odd long pouch for a takedown tool under the flap. Surface leather cracking on the front body and flap. Stitching is good. Missing the inner lifting strap. The leather is thinner than that used for service holster, and there is a 1 1/2" split at one corner edge of the magazine pouch on the leading edge. |
